While at Breakthrough Recovery Outreach, residents will participate in group therapies geared specifically to help the resident get through the recovery process successfully. We will ensure that all the resources needed to gain and maintain sobriety are available in a safe and supportive environment.

Evening Outpatient Program cont.
The Evening Outpatient Program is designed to meet the needs of adults who have substance abuse and emotional related issues. The program offers relapse prevention groups and psycho-educational sessions to help clients develop healthy coping skills and address underlying issues that contribute to active addiction. The Evening Outpatient Program offers immediate access to a structured environment and offers assistance in beginning recovery or maintaining recovery.
Group Psychotherapy primarily is less structured than group Psycho-education. It allows spontaneous discussion of a variety of relevant topics by the group members with the goal of facilitating recovery and offering support to the recovering person. The members are encouraged to share during group time and bring up topics that are relevant at the time.
These groups are designed to help the client identify signs of relapse and manage both internal and external triggers. The client will be encouraged to view recovery as a holistic experience and to see it as a journey to wellness. The group utilizes didactic and experiential techniques.

Each participating family should have two or more members that represent at least two generations in the family and are present for the scheduled session. The sessions are focused on problems or concerns shared by all families in attendance. The sessions explore patterns of interfamilial interaction, as well as utilize actual or potential alliances among the attendees based on similarities of age, sex, problem being discussed of family role.
Advanced Recovery Therapy
The A.R.T. group is a co-ed group. group. It is primarily a process-oriented group for individuals who reside in the community. Clients who participate in the group are working, attending classes, volunteering and are in a private residence and not a treatment facility. The group is open to anyone who has successfully completed treatment for addiction and is now successfully living in the community. Clients may come from other treatment centers or transitional living facilities; being a graduate of Breakthrough Recovery Outreach is not mandatory. Clients are expected to be prepared to share in the group process and to actively participate in each group. Although the group is co-ed, there is a “No Fraternization” policy between clients. If it is discovered that clients engage in this type of relationship, the result will be an immediate expulsion from group.

Will my treatment be kept confidential?
Information about your healthcare is private. And it should remain private. That is why Breakthrough Recovery Outreach is required by federal and state law to protect the privacy of your health information. The technical term is PHI or "Protected Health Information."-
Will my family be involved in my treatment?
Yes. Family is a very important part of the client’s recovery. During treatment, each client/family will be assigned to an initial case manager who will do a detailed assessment with the client and family members, if necessary, to determine each family’s unique needs. Afterwards, throughout treatment, a family therapist will have family counseling sessions as determined by your initial assessment. The family sessions can be done in person or on the phone, if the family does not live in the area. We also have a Multi-Family support group each third Sunday of the month from 4:00 – 5:30 PM. This group is for any family members who would like to attend.
