**New Program**
Introducing The Evening IOP Program
Evening Outpatient Program
Breakthrough Recovery Outreach offers specifically designed levels of care that are intended to meet the unique needs of adults who are experiencing co-occurring illness(substance abuse and mental health issues) that impair their daily functioning. The evening outpatient program is a part of the continuum of care that Breakthrough Recovery Outreach offers and is available to clients who are in need of an intense and structured program, but not in need of 24 – hour continuous care.
This program is structured to allow clients flexibility in their treatment experience. Programming includes; an assessment, group therapy sessions (psychotherapy/psycho-educational), multi-family group, random drug screens and an exit session with a final (negative) drug screen in order to receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.
The primary modality of treatment is group therapy and relapse prevention groups. The Evening Outpatient Program is appropriate for clients who are at a lower risk and not in need of a highly structured environment. Hours and days of operation for the Evening Program are 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

(As defined by the National Institute on Drug Abuse)
“Addiction is a chronic, often relapsing brain disease that causes compulsive drug seeking and use despite harmful consequences to the individual who is addicted and to those around them. Drug addiction is a brain disease because the abuse of drugs leads to changes in the structure and function of the brain.

Through their attendance of groups, participation in outside meetings, meeting with their sponsor, doing community service work and trusting the process; they are able to unwind from the tangled web and eventually shoot out and continue their journey of recovery.![]()
